Since I let the cat outta the bag last week about the Atlanta Housewives’ trip to South Africa, the word has spread like wildfire.

Bravo’s Andy Cohen even verified my story (sorta kinda) when he revealed that the ladies were on “the trip of a lifetime” in a recent interview (click HERE to listen).
Well… now there’s SOLID photographic proof!? The ladies were photographed attending an event in South Africa…
Phaedra Parks and Kandi Burruss were spotted at a local South African event and were kind enough to pose with two party-goers.
According to South African locals, the several cast members of the popular reality show have been recognized and spotted in-and-around Cape Town as well as Port Elizabeth.
So far, I know with absolute certainty that Sheree Whitfield, Phaedra Parks, Kandi Burruss, Nene Leakes and Cynthia Bailey all travelled to South Africa.? NeNe even hinted yesterday that she was “far far away”…

While the other ladies are living it up on another continent, Kimmie has been spotted around town doing a lil filming of her own with her baby daddy Kroy Biermann.
I still can’t get anyone to confirm if new housewife Marlo Hampton made the trip, but I’m gonna go out on a limb and assume that she did, as she’s been noticeably absent around town as well.
No one is talking apparently due to confidentiality agreements that Bravo has implemented in and around the locations where the ladies have been shooting, so we’ll just have to wait for the TEA on what drama is popping off in the motherland.
In the meantime, the ladies have been spotted enjoying the scenery. They’re doing the normal touristy things like sight-seeing and were even treated to a cruise around Cape Town.
One local even confirmed she recognized the ladies as they were shopping at the local Louie Vuitton store and they’ve also been enjoying several swanky dinners as well as attending plush private functions.? (so what’s new?)
I guess I’ve got a lil somethin’ to look forward to next season besides all the tomfoolery… like some exotic African scenery. *shrug*
