In addition to all the pokes, bizarre status updates, drunken photos and stalking, y’all are now “tagging” your spawn in real life with names that equate to social media terminology!
You may recall lil “Facebook”… the baby who received her name in honor of the popular social network’s role in organizing Egyptian protests.

Well lil “Facebook” has a new internet “sister” now that yet another unusual name based on the social network has sprung up!
I dunno whether to laugh or cry…

Lior and Vardit Adler, parents of the current media sensation, announced the joyful arrival of little Like Adler via Facebook, where her picture and name immediately received several “likes”.
Like joins the couple’ s two other children whose names are representative of the couples’ sweet tooth.? One daughter is named Dvash (Hebrew for honey) and another is Pie, as in apple pie.
According to The Guardian,? Like’s father explained that he was looking for something more original, and had checked that nobody else in Israel had the same name.
“In our opinion it’s the modern equivalent of the name Ahava [love],” he explained.
Like already has a fan page with over 2,000 “Likes” so far!
The proud father is delighted that his baby girl is getting so much attention being that he only has “a little more than 100 friends on the network”.
I guess naming your baby a delightful Facebook term is the key to popularity these days huh? Y’all can have that…
