If you’ve seen one baby bump you’ve seen ’em all but apparently Mariah Carey wants you to know that her’s is a certified piece of art.
The mommy to be tweeted the photo above with the colorful words “Dem Babies” written on her bare belly along with a butterfly that was half pink and blue (apparently to signify that she’s carrying boy/girl twins).
Mariah reportedly had somewhat of a scare recently and was rushed to the hospital as she and hubby Nick Cannon were celebrating her 42nd birthday.
She was said to be having birth-related contractions.
The contractions proved to be a false alarm, but Carey tweeted during her trip to the hospital: “So #dembabies really wanted 2 celebrate w/us/share the anniversary! I started contractions last night . . . went 2 the hospital.”
After the ordeal was settled, Mariah updated all her followers with:
Mariah’s due date is still a mystery, but I guess they’ll come when they come.
It was also recently revealed that Mrs. Cannon passed up the opportunity to be a judge on the U.S. version of Simon Cowell’s X Factor in order to focus on her family and on her recording career.
