Fact or Fiction? Suge Knight Arrested for Killing Tupac… [VIDEO]

Suge Knight has been arrested and charged with murdering Tupac Shakur. At least that’s what the creator of this viral video wants us all to believe.

The “Tupac Killer Arrested” rumor has been trending on Google News this week, along with others like the untimely passing of Eddie Murphy and Morgan Freeman (both of which are alive and well I might add).

This new video that’s in circulation leads one to believe that the 15-year-old cold case of Tupac’s murder has been cracked with the arrest of the Death Row mogul.

Is it fact, or a just another end-of-year rumor?

Several blogs have ran with the story that Suge Knight, the force behind Death Row Records, was arrested yesterday for the as yet unsolved murder of Tupac Shakur.

A viral video is used to give a compelling account of an arrest by a large contingency of Los Angeles police officers in which the Death Row mogul, whose real name is Marion Knight, Jr., was taken into custody for murder.

In the video, a reporter stands outside the jail where Suge Knight was taken after being arrested in connection with the death of Tupac in 1996. The purpose of this video is to show that Suge Knight killed Tupac Shakur.

I’ve posted two videos of the alleged arrest. The first is the doctored video, and the second one is the original from May 20, 2010.

VIDEO: Tupac’s Killer Arrested…

The video entitled “Tupac’s Killer Arrested” went viral in the course of a few hours and has accumulated over 195,000 views since it’s upload on December 28th.

Pay close attention to the video above, it has been doctored. In the original un-doctored news footage shown below, the facts about Suge’s arrest involves his failure to report to court on traffic violations and assault with a deadly weapon back on May 20, 2010.

VIDEO: KTLA Suge Knight Arrested for Traffic Violations…

Notice at about the 01:11 mark in the video, the date of May 20, 2010 can clearly be seen, giving further proof that the video was shot earlier this year on an unrelated incident that had absolutely NOTHING to do with Tupac Shakur’s murder.

There you have it. Suge Knight has NOT been arrested for killing Tupac Shakur, nor has Eddie Murphy, Aretha Franklin, Adam Sandler and Owen Wilson kicked the bucket.

The internet is now being used as part a growing entertainment niche that preys on the naivet? of those who respond to any news of scandal, death, and controversy. People are being “killed off” online almost every day and now we’re moving towards “re-creating” news footage?

Oh well… on to the next one.? I wonder what celebrity will get their internet death certificate next….
