Meet Mr. Billy Nash, age 46. Nash was arrested after he fatally stabbed his wife, Pauline Nash in the head and chest over 70 times….
On March 24th, only a week prior to the killing, Nash was charged with misdemeanor assault for slapping, kicking and dragging her by the hair after Mrs. Nash denied sex with him.
In that case, he was released without bail on the condition that he not contact her.? The Judge allowed his conditional release because he had no prior domestic-assault convictions and because his wife, Pauline Nash, said “this has never occurred in the past.”
Billy Nash violated the no-contact order almost immediately, said Brittany Nash, 18, the fifth of the couple’s sixth children.
On the night of the stabbing, Brittany said she awoke around 3am Friday to hear her mother’s terrified screams. She ran to her mother’s room where she found her father brutally attacking her. Brittany dialed 911 as her 13-year-old sister grabbed the bloody knife from their father and fled.
When authorities arrived, they found Pauline Nash bloody and battered in the bedroom. She was taken to a hospital where she died.
The husband told investigators on the scen, “I’m sorry, sergeant, that you had to come here tonight for this. … She was driving me crazy. … I killed the B*tch.”
Nash was charged Friday with first-degree murder, which carries a maximum penalty of life in prison. He was ordered held on $1 million bail.
