Two idiots, who happen to be husband and wife, have been arrested and charged after appearing on the Dr. Phil Show to address their “shoplifting” profession.?? WhereDeyDoThatAt?
A U.S. District Court Judge has sentenced Matthew Eaton, 34, of San Marcos, California to 27 months in prison, while his wife, Laura Eaton, 27, has been sentenced to a year after both pleaded guilty to conspiracy to transport stolen property across state lines.
The two appeared on Dr. Phil’s talk show last year and bragged about having made over $100,000 selling shoplifted toys on eBay.

The couple was under investigation for shoplifting prior to their “Dr. Phil” appearance, but detectives didn’t suspect them of being large-scale thieves until they told on themselves during the show.
Dr. Phil even convinced the pair to do a “video diary” of their escapades and aired a video of the couple’s three small children accompanying them on a three-day shoplifting binge.
The Eatons were arrested last September, almost a year after they appeared on the show and claimed they made as much as $3,500 a week by selling stolen goods.
The wife, Laura Eaton, claims to have stopped stealing after her appearance on the show, but says her husband continued.
Attorney Leila Morgan, who represents Matthew Eaton, told the judge the couple contacted the “Dr. Phil” show with the hope of getting help with their financial situation but only came away with just three books signed by Dr. Phil.
It would seem by their bragging that their “financial situation” was just fine.? Even though they were stealing they were making a killing! The only thing Dr. Phil probably did was get the hook up on a few gift cards.? You know how y’all do… LOL
Oh yeah…. and since he put them all on blast on the show. Dr. Phil hasn’t spoken about the situation.? Hilarious!
