Andre 3000 rarely posts on social media, but the popular entertainer and half of legendary hip-hop group Outkast hit the net recently with a very important announcement.
Details below…
In a rare audio message posted to his Instagram page, the superstar entertainer stresses the importance of voting in the upcoming Georgia senate run-off, stating:
Hey, this is fellow Atlanta, Georgian Andrè Benjamin (or Andrè 3000). This message is to all Georgians who are registered to vote or able to vote. Voters are systematically suppressed and disenfranchised. We are working to change that history and be sure that every person who can vote… can, and does.
Georgia has a chance to be heard again in the critical January 5th senate run-off race. If you are or will be 18 years old before January 5, 2021, you are eligible to vote in this senate run off election… even if you did not vote in the 2020 general election.
Absentee ballots should be requested ASAP and early voting begins December 14th. More details can be found at vote.org or fairfight.com
Georgia, let’s be heard on January 5th in this very critical election.
