Welp… The ratings for the premiere are in and it’s not looking too good.

Details below…

According to the latest ratings, RHOA season 13 episode 1 garnered a mere 1.418 million viewers (0.50 18-49 demo).

In comparison to all other season premieres of the popular Bravo reality show, the season number is the LOWEST in the ratings history of the show. In fact, the only premiere episode with fewer viewers was the SEASON ONE pilot!

Season 13 Episode 1 1.42

Season 12 Episode 1 1.91

Season 11 Episode 1 1.93

Season 10 Episode 1 2.43

Season 9 Episode 1 2.59

Season 8 Episode 1 2.97

Season 7 Episode 1 3.83

Season 6 Episode 1 3.10

Season 5 Episode 1 3.22

Season 4 Episode 1 2.89

Season 3 Episode 1 2.41

Season 2 Episode 1 2.66

Season 1 Episode 1 0.65

It’s clear that the show has been on what appears to be a steady decline for the past few years, which could have been exacerbated by fact that they have consistently been in an on again off again battle with their top star Nene Leakes.

As revealed prior to season 13, Leakes walked away from a lowball offer from the network, leaving them struggling with story lines that aren’t cohesive. Many feel that the veteran “housewife” was the glue that held the cast together and her abrupt departure sparked a BoycottBravo petition from her fanbase.

Could The Real Housewives of Atlanta could be in it’s final days or is “13” just an unlucky number?
