Nene Leakes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta recently announced that she’s canceled several of her appearances to care for her husband, Gregg Leakes.
Over the past few weeks, the popular reality star has been dealing with the situation in silence as Gregg has been hospitalized with an undisclosed ailment.

Nene shared the news online, stating:
“Today marks the 15th day straight that Gregg has been in the hospital. I find it very difficult to stand onstage and laugh and have a good time and give you guys your money’s worth knowing that my husband is in the hospital not feeling well.”

Hey, you guys, it’s NeNe, and I’m doing a different announcement than I’ve ever done before. First of all, I just want to say that I feel very blessed and extremely lucky to be able to do what I do, and I’m so grateful that you guys purchase tickets to see me everywhere. I have to cancel my Albany, New York show and my New York City Caroline’s show.
Nene also reveals in the video above that Gregg is recovering and will be released soon after being hospitalized for over 2 weeks, but she wants to stay by his side despite his protests to carry on.
He has said to me over and over again, ‘Go on. Go out there. Have a good time. Do the show. I’m gonna be fine.’ But I find it mentally very hard for me to do.
