Mugshot Mania: Rapper Juvenile Jailed For Failure to Pay $150k in Child Support…

Terius Gray, 42, aka Juvenile, spent his Father’s Day in jail after being locked up in New Orleans for child support issues.

The rapper was jailed in New Orleans on Saturday after a judge discovered he owes $150,000 in child support to the mother of his teenage son.

Details below…

According to the New Orleans Advocate, the whopping amount in question stems from payments that were due by Juvenile to the mother of his son, Dionne Williams, between 2012 and 2013.

A ruling at the time determined Juvenile ? whose real name is Terius Gray ? owed $170,000 and he then paid just $20,000 of it in April.

Williams accuses Gray, 41, of failing to pay more than $71,000 between 2013 and last month, according to court records obtained by the Advocate.

The Advocate also reports that authorities in Louisiana commonly jail defendants who have the economic means to pay the support in order to force them to make payments.

Gray helped launch the Cash Money Records label to national prominence with the multiplatinum album “400 Degreez” in 1998, which included the legendary New Orleans bounce anthem “Back That Azz Up.” Along with artists Lil Wayne, B.G. and Young Turk, he formed part of the well-known rapper crew known as the Hot Boys.

He also had a No. 1 single more recently with 2004’s “Slow Motion,” which featured the slain New Orleans rap star who performed under the name Soulja Slim.

Juvenile found himself under arrest just hours after finishing up a concert at the Southport Hall in Louisiana. He has been?ordered to pay up the six figures to his baby mama or spend 30 days in jail.
