Members of the sorority were quick to hit?social media to tweet?Ludacris about their disappointment, since they had no idea who the young man was…

Soon, Ludacris’ mother, Roberta Shields (who happens to be a member of AKA) hit the net to offer an apology for allowing Lil Fate, who is known as Luda’s hypeman, to wear HER AKA jersey.

Shields states in the video above:

Hi there, just wanted to send a shout out to Lil Fate. Today, there was a little ruckus about him wearing the AKA jersey.

He didn’t mean disrespect. He was wearing it IN respect… but hey… snatched (points at jersey)… everything’s cool.

Clearly Lil Fate’s decision to wear an AKA sorority jersey ‘in respect’ was a dumb move and could have actually caused havoc for Magic City Classic sponsorships like McDonalds, etc. and could have even cost Shields her membership!

Remember?what the black greeks did to VH1 and ‘Sorority Sisters’? They boycotted sponsors and even got several members booted from their sororities (click HERE to refresh your memory).

This could have also been catastrophic for Luda and his brand! Thank God his mom was there to save the day…

How do you feel about Lil Fate rocking an AKA Jersey during the Magic City Classic?
