Good Deeds! #RHOA Kenya Moore Pledges to Match #GoFundMe Funds for Howard Student…?

Finally… Some GOOD news about Kenya Moore of the Real Housewives of Atlanta!

Details below…

Kenya is making sure a Howard University student has the cash she needs to continue her higher education… and add a bit of positivity to her own ‘brand’ in the process!

The ‘RHOA’ star recently started a GoFundMe campaign for a young lady named De’Juae Leathers, who’s supposed to be a sophomore this year.

According to the campaign, De’Juae is in dire straits after a Summer gig left her financially strapped.

In August of 2015, I started my college career with 18 college credits after being a part of a gifted program in high school. My freshman year, I acquired various roles within my university and community. I was also able to find work as an intern at a local consulate in D.C. only to not be paid for my services as promised by my superior which greatly crippled me making it impossible for me to pay for my portion of financial aid.

I have worked all of summer 2016 in hopes of acquiring the funds to continue my education at my dream school Howard University in the fall of 2016.

I cannot apply for any scholarships because of the hold on my transcripts and scholarship season being over at this time. I’ve exhausted all other means as well and have no other option.

I respectfully hope that you would consider my accomplishments and goals while moving to assist me in my educational endeavors.

So far, Kenya’s raised 2,635 of $4,270 goal.

According to TMZ, Kenya is a good friend of De’Juae and wants to use her powerful platform to help the student raise funds for next semester. ?Moore also says she’ll match each dollar raised if the goal is met by Thursday’s deadline.

The timing is perfect! Kenya certainly needs a lil positive news to balance off the season.

What do you think of Kenya’s good deeds!
