The Real Housewives of Atlanta has been taping around town for about a month now and there are several rumors about a few key players being either ‘too busy’ for the show and/or moving across country to be away from the show.
Let me assure you, neither of those scenario’s are true and I’ve got THE REAL TEA about the situation so get your cups ready and dive in!

According to the reports, Nene has been no where in sight during season 9 tapings and that her HSN clothing line, game show appearances and ‘Fashion Police’ co-hosting gig have all kept her away from filming the popular reality show.
For the record, that story is completely false.
Nene’s not ‘too busy’ and she made a point of disputing it on twitter shortly after the story dropped, stating:
“Never 2 busy 4 show that launched my career! There r people too busy not wanting me there! Facts”
I did a bit of digging after I saw that and reached out to a few of my RHOA sources. It seems that Nene has actually been WAITING for Bravo to give her the word and they moved on with taping season 9 without her.
Leakes was under the impression that she would be returning full time and got her nose done in anticipation of filming.
I assure you, had she known that they didn’t want and/or need her to shoot in June, she would not have rushed to get her nose fixed… and she wouldn’t have appeared on talk shows with it all swollen and obvious!
To further explain my source revealed that while it wasn’t about the moolah, Nene was promised full time pay for full time work when in actuality, producers circled back and asked her to appear as she did last year, but with fewer appearances and less pay.
Bravo is acting like she should go from being the highest paid housewife to the lowest.
Busy?? Nene’s been ‘busy’ waiting for them to call her.? She actually postponed her ‘one woman’ comedy tour because she thought she would be filming in June!
She’s also a bit offended that filming started and they didn’t even tell her.
So no… Nene’s not ‘too busy’! That’s a load of bull that Bravo is apparently trying to sell RHOA fans.? Mark my words, she’ll probably film a few episodes and then producers will include it in the sizzle reel so that fans will THINK she’s there the entire season… just like they’ve fooled y’all last year during that 3-part reunion show.
