Word on the cub is that Future (Nayvadius Cash) has been burning a whole lot of bridges around his hometown of Atlanta.
Way before Ciara ever entered the picture,?rapper/producer Rocko Da Don was a key figure in Future‘s rise to fame. ?Rocko sponsored Future’s entire launch and introduced him to several key figures in the entertainment industry.
The two were so close that I once thought they were ‘real’ brothers, but unfortunately things fell apart when Future got signed and left Rocko waiting for his dough.
Details below..
Rodney Ramone Hill, Jr (aka Rocko), owner of A1 Recordings, filed a lawsuit against sued Nayvadius Cash (aka Future) regarding money owed from their 2011 contract.
Apparently Future breached a deal where the was to release?his first 6 albums under Rocko’s A1 label.
Rocko says?Epic Records?signed on to distribute the albums, but then things got tricky. In the suit, he says Future cut a side deal with Epic, which scored him huge multi-million dollar advances.
Rocko says he was left out in the cold because Future stiffed him to the tune of 25% — the commission he’s owed off those fat Epic advances. In addition, he says he’s owed 20% of Future’s earnings from touring, endorsements, etc …
Rocko is suing Future for upwards of $10 million dollars.
For the record, WE ALL KNOW what happens when you mix money with friendship.
Hopefully Future will be a stand up dude and pay what he owes… but I guess for now that’s up to a judge to decide.
