Bobby Brown speaks openly about his failures parenting his daughter, Bobbi Kristina.
In an interview with ABC News? Robin Roberts for a special edition of ?20/20,? Brown opens up about his journey from being the frontman of New Edition, to launching a Grammy-winning solo career, to his past relationships, including his marriage to Whitney Houston and his new memoir, ?Every Little Step,? which will be out in stores on?June 13.
In the interview, Brown also discusses his daughter, her troubled life and her tragic July 2015 death and admits that he could have done more during her short stint on earth.

The aspiring singer, who was found face down and unresponsive in a bathtub that January, died from lobar pneumonia and a lack of oxygen, which resulted in brain damage.
According to a toxicology report later completed during her autopsy, Bobbi Kristina had a mix of alcohol and drugs in her system.
In the interview, Brown blames his daughter’s ‘brother/husband’ Nick Gordon for her demise and also seems to indicate Gordon in Houston’s death as well, stating:
?It?s not a mystery to me the same thing that happened to my daughter is what happened to Whitney,? Bobby tells Roberts during the candid interview, referring to his ex-wife?s uncannily similar February 2012 death.
?There is only one person around both occasions.?
While Bobby refused to say?Nick Gordon?s name during the interview, he states,
?He knows what happened. I don?t know what happened that night, but he does.?
For the record, Bobby, along with Bobbi Kristina?s conservator Bedelia Hargrove, has since filed a $10 million wrongful death suit against Gordon in which they accuse Bobbi Kristina’s controversial love interest of allegedly having abused Bobbi Kristina as well as injecting her with a toxic mixture of drugs that ultimately led to her death.
Gordon’s lawyer later released a counterstatement calling the claims “slanderous and meritless.”
