When you’re facing a life sentence, I guess it’s only fitting to belt out a song for the judge.
A viral video has been circulating, which features 21 year-old Brian Earl Taylor’s dramatic plea to a judge just prior to his sentencing.

I’ve watch a lot of crime shows and have seen criminals beg, plead and issue tearful apologies during sentencing, but never have I seen one LITERALLY singing for his life.
Oh… and his choice of song was reportedly inspired by Adele’s popular ‘Hello’ song.

Taylor’s attorney asked the Judge Darlene O’Brien prior to the hearing if his client could sing the song.
Once the Judge read the lyrics and saw they were remorseful, she allowed Taylor to ‘perform’ his song in open court.
While the judge felt he was talented enough, Taylor was still sentenced to 17 years for his crimes.
