NEWSFLASH!! Phaedra Parks of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is reportedly considering a future in politics.
In a recent interview with Chris Witherspoon from ‘TheGrio’, Parks discusses how she has been devoting a lot of her time to activating change.? The BlackLivesMatters Movement, the Million Man March Anniversary and the Water Crisis in Flint, Michigan are all issues that Parks has decided to tackle through her platform.

When asked how people respond to seeing a popular ‘housewife’ in the mix during community events such as those referenced above, Phaedra states:
People who truly know my background, they know that when it comes to activism and being politically sound, I’m definitely that.
I’m always out there rallying for the people.
As far as a political office being something Park’s wants to pursue, she states, ?I?m sure I will. ?

In a recent interview with theGrio‘s Chris Witherspoon, Phaedra discusses her deep ties with politics, stating:
?I?m very much so connected to politicians, and my own aunt was the first woman and person of color to be elected into politics in Hall County. So I come from a very political family.?
“I always thought I would be the insurance commissioner, but then when I got into practicing law, things just evolved, and next thing I know, I’m in this entertainment field.”“I love politics. I think politicians heal the community through their efforts in the legislation to pass laws that can help the people. Politics definitely plays its role.”
On a related note, Parks, who uttered the phrase ?Fix It Jesus? on RHOA, opened up about owning the rights to the catchy term.? She said she?s even had to shut down some folks trying to profit from her catch phrase, stating:
I saw them selling products with ?Fix It Jesus,? and I just kindly sent them a cease and desist letter and gave them my copyright license…
