Welp… the numbers are in and judging from this week’s ratings, it seems The Real Housewives of Atlanta knew what they were doing when they asked BEGGED OG Nene Leakes to return!

Season 8 premiered with a bang Sunday evening (click HERE if you missed it), but it seems Sheree Whitfield’s return didn’t make up for Nene’s departure.
Only 2.968 million viewers?tuned in for the premiere Sunday night, a decline of almost a million from Season 7’s 3.8 million, and it seems the number is the lowest it’s been in 3 years!

According to Showbuzz Daily, The Walking Dead/Taking Dead came in at number one for Sunday’s viewership while?Atlanta Housewives held at an impressive number 3, however… the declining numbers have caught everyone’s eye.
Just FYI, the past few RHOA season openers all broke the 3 milli mark:
Season 8: 2.968 Million
Season 7: 3.8 million
Season 6: 3.1 million
Season 5: 3.2 million
And to think… Kenya and Sheree were trying so hard to capture y’all’s attention…
Oh well. Love her or hate her, it appears that Nene’s absence Sunday night certainly made a difference. ?I guess those of you who refuse to watch without her weren’t lying… 😯
