It was just a few weeks ago that OG Nene Leakes spilled the tea about all the fake relationships and shenanigans going on with season 8 storylines (CLICK HERE if you missed that).
Welp… judging from the trailer released, Nene was speaking about not one… not two… but SEVERAL ‘housewives’ when she tweeted about cast members renting relationships.

In the newly released trailer for season 8 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta there’s a ton of shade and lots of drama used to reel viewers in.

Bravo is good for editing things that never happen, but I’m not even going to go there (yet).? But let’s break down this season’s storylines, shall we…
Kenya Moore – We already know Kenya is the master when it comes to trickery and tomfoolery, she’s proven it on more than one occasion and this year is no different. Kenya needs an arch nemesis and Sheree Whitfield will be it now that Nene is gone.? In the press release (which you can read HERE) Kenya is pulling a ‘Chateau Sheree’ and building ‘Kenya Manor’ (does Kenya ever have an original idea?)
Clearly Moore’s stunts have only proved that Bravo is willing to pay for entertainment and she’s clearly indoctrinated a few others with her lame ideas.
Let’s start with Porsha Williams and her season 8 plot to get pregnant….
Porsha has been plotting and planning to snatch her peach back since April of this year when she pretended to be engaged and pregnant (click HERE if you missed that).? While it was clearly an April fools joke then, little did we know that Porsha had solidified the tale as her story line for season 8!
Season 8 story lines feature quite a few questionable relationships and one of which we know for sure is defunct is Porsha and her much younger NFL boy-toy, Duke Williams.

The pair were hot and heavy for several months but only until Porsha found out Williams’ cash flow wasn’t quite up to par.
Baller Alert first alerted the public about the pair’s split via Instagram, stating:
According to a reader, Buffalo Bills #DukeWilliams who was dating #rhoa star #PorshaWilliams up until a few weeks ago has already moved on. Allegedly he is now dating #SierraAlston from #TheGame’s dating show, #ShesGotGame #buffalobills
And RWS grabbed a screenshot of Porsha confirming the news:
Then there’s Phaedra Parks and her unidentified mystery man spotted in the season 8 trailer clip…

I don’t know who the man is and haven’t a clue on if Phaedra is dating in ‘real life’ but one thing I do know for sure is that she’s still VERY married to Apollo Nida and while he’s been reportedly still ‘trickin’ in prison by getting women to send him cash (click HERE if you missed that), the pair aren’t parting ways anytime soon… I assure you.
The realest storylines, as far as I can tell, are:
Kandi Burruss – Kandi and her pregnancy issues (she’s reportedly a high-risk pregnancy and will go through some of her fears on camera).? Kandi has become the ‘spinoff’ queen of RHOA and I predict she may even score another one with her expanding family!
Cynthia Bailey – Sadly, Cynthia and Peter’s marital issues are really real.? That clip of Peter ‘allegedly’ cheating in the club (click HERE if you missed that) is going to be brought up again and again and again.? It was the major bone of contention between Cynthia and Porsha when their reported ‘fight’ occurred a few weeks back.?? I’ve HEARD that Peter is quite perturbed about producers using their pain for ratings, but fame costs, and this RHOA season, Peter & Cynthia will be paying the price.
Kim Fields – I know nothing about that lady and I’m not ashamed to say it.? All I know is that there will be shade on shade on shade about her child star career (Note Porsha said something about if she wasn’t born when it was on, it doesn’t count!).?? Oh… and she has some financial issues that may (or may not be addressed on the show).

Supporting cast members, Sheree Whitfield and Shamea Morton are sure to add their own drama to the show.? Both are getting paid for their appearances but clearly the focus will be on the 6 ladies holding peaches.? That may change mid-season, who knows…
