Meet Jeffery Lamar Williams aka ‘Young Thug‘.
The Atlanta-based rapper is totally living up to his stage name. Young Thug posed for the mugshot above after he was arrested for threatening to shoot a security guard at Perimeter Mall in Atlanta.
Thug, 23, was arrested early Wednesday morning, July 15, at 6 a.m. after the incident, which reportedly occurred on July 7th.
The U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force was on hand to aid Dunwoody, Georgia police in serving the warrant, and they raided his home searching for undisclosed items.
Young Thug was booked at the DeKalb County Jail yesterday but it appears that was all a ploy to get him in custody! The popular rapper has also been named in an indictment stemming from that Lil Wayne bus shooting that occurred a few months ago.

A search warrant was also issued to search his Sandy Springs mansion.?
Williams was wanted on an outstanding warrant charging him with terroristic threats stemming from an incident that occurred with the jurisdiction of the Dunwoody police,? Joyner said in a news release.
Dunwoody Police Department spokesman Officer Timothy Fecht said the charges were the product of a July 7 ?dispute that Mr. Williams had with Perimeter Mall security.?
According to an arrest warrant, Williams was asked to leave the mall and was being escorted out when he ?threatened to shoot (a security guard) in the face.?
Williams was taken to the DeKalb County jail for his initial appearance and bond hearing.
It seems odd that the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force would be there to serve a ‘terroristic threats’ warrant, but apparently they were on hand looking for evidence for another case involving Young Thug.
Channel 2 Action News also uncovered an indictment filed in Cobb County in June that alleges Williams and another rapper named Bryan Williams, aka Birdman, were involved in a RICO conspiracy to kill Lil Wayne when his tour bus was shot up in April.
