According to a DeKalb County police incident report, Angie told police her 30 year old daughter Diamond punched her in the face, forcing her to defend herself.
While it could be considered self-defense, it appears that instead of using comparable force, Angie chose to defended herself with a metal stand, knocking out her daughter’s front teeth in the process.
Angie Stone told police her daughter Diamond Stone hit her in the face with closed fists first. Diamond Stone and Blondy Chisolm, a family friend who witnessed the Monday night altercation, told police they were not sure who threw the first blow.
The spat, according to Diamond Stone, started when Angie Stone entered her daughter?s room, demanded that she clean it up and ordered her to control her children, who were running around the singer?s Rogers Lake Road home half naked.
