It was just a few months ago that Usher’s manager, Grace Miguel was spotted rocking a huge rock. While there wasn’t an ‘official’ announcement, ?the sighting solidified rumors that the couple planned to wed.

Usher recently?confirmed the news?during his BET Honors acceptance speech and in doing so, managed to throw a bit of shade towards his ex-wife Tameka Raymond.

Usher got a bit emotional during the speech, stating:
I?m thankful and I?m honored. I?m blessed to be a blessing to someone else.
If this honor is the beginning of my ?you ain?t seen nothing yet,? stay tuned.
But it was around the 8 minute mark of his speech that Usher gives a shout out to his new fiance? and simultaniously manages shade his ex-wife, stating:
“My friend/partner/manager and fianc? Grace Miguel… see marriage makes a difference whether you guys know it or not.
I don?t know if my story would be the best one (laughs)… but listening to Kanye tonight, man marriage is good for you sir!”
