Fan Mail – Did #RHOA Demetria McKinney Steal Pop Song From Gospel Artist?? (VIDEO)

Word on the curb is that Demetria McKinney, the up & coming pop star/friend of the show on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, may have ‘borrowed’ the track for her ‘Keep it 100’ single (ft. Da Brat) from an up & coming gospel artist.

Demetria performed her song during the RHOA girl’s trip in Puerto Rico (click HERE if you missed that).?Well, that nationwide tv exposure may have exposed her single to a bit of scrutiny.

I received the following ‘Hot #RHOA Tea’ via email a few days ago…

Facts: Look at the dates the videos was published

Watch the two videos & compare the tracks below (if you care)…

VIDEO: Demetria McKinney – “100” ft. Da Brat (Official Video)

Demetria’s video was released August 4, 2014, while Uncle Reece’s video (below) was released several months earlier on April 7, 2014.

VIDEO: Uncle Reece – I Can’t Help Myself Ft. Jor’Dan Armstrong (Official Music Video)

While I couldn’t force myself to sit through both videos, it seems upon my brief inspection that both tracks are identical.

Both songs are also available on iTunes. Uncle Reece’s song released on Jun 03, 2014, while Demetria’s single was released on iTunes June 9, 2014.

All of this ‘evidence’ is purely circumstantial, but I guess anything is possible.

What do you guys think of this recent ‘fan mail’?
