Yall keep joking about they ‘ain’t too proud to beg’ but TLC asked and they received!

Earlier this week, Chilli & T-Boz (the two surviving members of legendary 90s girl group TLC) launched a Kickstarter crowd funding campaign to raise $150k for their 5th and final TLC album.

Welp… They made it!

In fact, they more than made it… accumulating over $175,000 in financial pledges in less than 3 days (and they have 27 more to go!)

TLC’s quest for cash may have been a joke to some, ,but as of this post, their kickstarter crowd funding campaign has accumulated $175,903 in pledges!

If you’re a fan of TLC, you have 29 more days to pledge a donation of your own. The project will be funded on Thu, Feb 19 2015 12:00 PM EST. Which means, they will get a huge payday right after Valentine’s day!

TLC has garnered support from throughout the music community with Katy Perry making a $5,000 pledge and New Kids on The Block throwing in $10K.
