WATCH THIS! Killer Mike Shares Views on #Ferguson w/ CNN’s Brooke Baldwin… (VIDEO)

Michael Render aka Killer Mike is a beacon of hope and his powerful voice cannot be denied.

It was just a week ago that Mike broke down onstage in St. Louis during his emotional onstage speech in the hours after the Feguson grand jury decision to NOT indict officer Darren Wilson in the murder of Mike Brown (click HERE if you missed that).

Earlier today, Mike spoke to CNN’s Brooke Baldwin to share more of his views about the controversial topic, stating:

This is a constitutional issue. ALL of our rights are being violated by bad policing when ANY of our rights are violated.

In the 2-part interview, Mike offers more of his insight on the Ferguson decision and rest assured, he responds to Baldwin’s questions with honest answers about why the Ferguson issues has created so much strife and discourse throughout the nation.

During the two part interview above, Mike shared stories about how he personally dealt with the grand jury decision, admitting that it was his wife’s tear jerking reaction statement of ‘God doesn’t love us,’ that sparked his breakdown. He also addresses the St. Louis Rams’ “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” pregame protest as well as President Obama’s response (or lack thereof), stating:

He’s the president of the United States, not just 45 million Black people. Would I… in my Black father, Black male heart WISH that he would have went? Absolutely. Did I expect that from a sitting US President? Absolutely not. He has to be hands off in the office of presidency in that way, but as a Black father and as a Black man, I would hope that when he stepped away from that podium, when he sat on the bed next to his wife… I would hope that he experienced the same feelings of hopelessness and helplessness that I felt, because those feelings are what invigorate you the next day to fight the better fight.

Mike goes on to ask of the President:

What are you going to do to reinstate the rights of Americans NOT to be treated like we have a militia… a martial law militia overseeing us in or daily life?

In part 2 of the segment above, Mike was asked if addresse Darren Wilson, stating:

I’d tell him that ‘I think you’re a liar. I think that you’re lying to cover yourself. I’m not saying that you weren’t engaged wrongfully. But I think you killed that kid because you were angry.

I think that you decided that you decided by the time you got out of that car, he wasn’t going to get away with what you perceived he did to you. I think you’re going to live with this the rest of your life.

I don’t know how you could without any conscious say ‘I was just doing my job’… because every policemen I’ve ever known who has had to engage a person with a gun (whether they survived or not), walked out the other side a changed person. I don’t believe you.’ is what I would say to him.

Mike also addresses the importance of increasing your social circle, which allows ALL to engage in conversations that challenge their social perspectives.

I salute Killer Mike for speaking out. I wish more would have the courage to do the same.
