The ladies of The Real Housewives of Atlanta are all enjoying a ‘girl’s trip’ to the Philippines this week but Nene Leakes is unfortunately ‘grounded’ in Atlanta.

Nene has been traveling a lot over the past few years, due to several gigs across the country and if you recall, it was just last year that the outspoken housewife experienced blood clots stemming from her extensive travel schedule.

The 27 hours in flight that the RHOA ladies endured to the Philippines recently could have drastically affected Nene’s health and apparently doctors advised against it.

Nene shared the photo above about an hour ago, stating:
My sources say Nene was scheduled to fly in to the Philippines at a later date to begin shooting with the ladies, however she canceled her flight after her doctor warned her against it.
FYI – flying long distances is potentially fatal for people with a propensity to develop blood clots and Nene’s doctors felt that RHOA flight schedule (they flew 20 hours to Korea then another 7 to the Philippines) would be too intensive.
Anywhoo… the countdown has begun and there’s only 9 more days!! ?With cast shakeups and husband lockups, it should be the best season yet!
