Another day, another gun charge for Atlanta-based rapper Waka Flocka Flame (aka: Juaquin James Malphurs)!

Waka Flocka posed for the mugshot above after he was arrested at the Atlanta airport last Friday (October 10, 2014) after the popular rapper, 28, made the crucial mistake of having a handgun in his carry-on bag.
The gun was discovered as he made his way through security at Atlanta?s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and so far, he’s blaming it all on his new wife, Tammy Rivera.

Waka was arrested and charged with carrying a weapon in a prohibited place and was transported to the Clayton County jail, where he spent less than three hours before being released on bond Friday afternoon.
As you know, the rapper and his wife, Tammy Rivera, are currently starring on VH1?s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta and Waka’s mom/manager suggests it was all his new wife’s fault.

In a statement released to TMZ, Deb Antney states:
it was all a big mistake … he accidentally grabbed his fiance’s bag — which contained the gun.
… they’re in the process of moving and all their stuff got mixed up in the move … which is how the gun ended up in the bag.
Whatever the case, the gun (pictured below) was confiscated by TSA and Waka, who was released on bond, will have to answer to the gun charges in Clayton County on a later date.
