Beyonce & Jay-Z’s ‘On The Run’ Tour Comes To TV… [FULL VIDEO]

Beyonce & Jay-Z sold millions of tickets to their ‘On The Run Tour’ but they also sold hours of footage to HBO for your viewing pleasure.

The musical power couple’s two and a half hour show aired last night (September 20, 2014) on the cable network and there were quite a few surprises.

While the HBO special unfortunately didn’t show any behind-the-scenes footage (no pregnancy announcement, no backstage Blue Ivy sightings), the concert had plenty of cool moments from the stage.

From random slow-motion footage, which highlighted crazy Bey dance moves and thrilled audience reaction shots, to at least one guest appearance, the HBO ‘On The Run’ special was everything Beyonce’ fans dreamed of and more…

As many reported earlier, the only special guest that joined the pair on the HBO special was rapstress Nicki Minaj, who showed up to perform the “Flawless” remix with a thrilled-looking Queen Bey.

Another buzz-worthy moment included Beyonce’s much-discussed version of “Resentment.”

Throughout the summer, Beyonce’s performance of the song was reported to be a particularly emotional moment for her, but last night on the special, she seemed to be having fun with it, smiling at the end and jokingly dusting her shoulders off.

And last but not least, the one that got audiences most excited was the last 10 minutes of the show, when Beyonce (wearing an American flag dress) and Jay Z hit the stage together to perform “On the Run (Part 2),” “Young Forever” and “Halo,” while adorable Carter family home movies played in the background.
