Torrei Hart of VH1’s newest reality series Atlanta Exes, has officially responded to the ‘coincidental’ timing of her ex-husband’s engagement and how she heard about the news?via social media at the same time as everyone else in the world.
You may recall that around the exact time VH1 debuted?the second episode of Atlanta Exes, Torrei’s ex-husband Kevin Hart posted a photo on his Instagram announcing his engagement to current girlfriend Eniko Parrish.

Kevin’s photo was then reposted by a few of his celebrity friends, attached with the hashtag #AtlantaExes and while the coincidental timing of it all most likely helped the show’s viewership, it was given the side-eye by everyone online and off.
Torrei has now spoken out about how SHE feels about situation….

What was your immediate reaction to hearing the news of your ex-husband?s engagement?
I wasn?t shocked at all. The thing about me is I come from a line of strong women. I?m a very spiritual woman, I?m very in tune with God and the universe. I wasn?t shocked, I was prepared for this for a very long time.
Prepared, like did Kevin give you a heads up before he posted?
No. He wouldn?t do that. No, I didn?t get a heads up.
The episodes that aired that night were filmed a while ago, how are you feeling now after the premiere and the announcement?
I don?t care that he moved on, that?s not the problem. The thing is when he first moved on, it was during the marriage. It? all about how things were done. That was the problem ? there should be more respect your children?s mother.
He could of waited before my kids were all around her that fast, especially when she was a part of the marriage when we were still married. And I know people like to say I?m still talking about it, but no, now I?m on show called Atlanta Exes ? I have to talk about it. (laughs)
First time on the show I have to talk about who I am, who I was with, and what happened ? that?s the show. But that?s when it FIRST happened. Right now it is what is, and I accepted the situation for what it is.
So would you say you?re ‘unbothered’?
It is and will always be about respect, and how he did things, but I don?t want to beat a dead horse. I knew this was going to happen anyway, so it wasn?t a shock. We can all move on.
