Tank, Columbus Short & More Spotted At #ATLLive On The Park… [PHOTOS + VIDEO]

Shanti Das and Marlon Nichols presented the third annual ‘All White Affair’ for the August edition of ATL Live on the Park last Tuesday (August 12, 2014).

The monthly music event, held?Piedmont Park?s Park Tavern, included an outstanding lineup of performances. ?This segment featured performances by Havok Jones, Kris Kelli, and Tank.

Revolt TV?s Kenny Burns hosted the event and got the crowd moving, alongside DJ Trauma and house-band, Quinn and Jukebox.

Celebrities in attendance included: Columbus Short (formerly of ABC?s Scandal), Actor?s Jackie Long and Keith Robinson, Block of Block Entertainment / Bad Boy, Jagged Edge, Peter Thomas (RHOA), Chaka Zulu (Ludacris Manager), Kawan KP Prather (VP of A&R, Atlantic Records), Michael Mauldin (industry veteran), Jennifer Drake (Universal Records), Cannon Kent (Atlantic Records), Greggory Smith (Associate Dir, SESAC) and more.

Following their performance, new girl group Havoc Jones (members: Kea Aleis, Keiko, Aire B., and MaiDai)?were presented with a poster-sized copy of their upcoming feature on the cover of Atlanta based, FAME Magazine.

Kris Kelli (center) poses with Shanti Das, Jackie Long, Columbus Short. ?Kelli, fresh out of Kingston, Jamaica, blew the crowd away with songs like Dawn Penn?s ?You Don?t Love Me? and ?Daddy?s Little Girl.? Kelli ended her performance with a song from her newest project, titled ?Forever They Cry,? and credited Bob Marley and Peter Tosh, as her main musical inspirations.

Following Kelli?s performance, Kenny Burns encouraged R.L. of Next, Columbus Short, formerly, of ABC series Scandal, and members of Jagged Edge to hit the stage.?R.L. sang, while Short danced, followed by an impromptu performance by Jagged Edge of their popular song ?I Gotta Be.?

Tank and Marlon Nichols strike a pose…

Singer, songwriter, and Grammy nominee, Tank headlined the event in celebration of his new album release, Stronger. He performed many of his top hits, including “You’re My Star,” “Slowly,” “Emergency,” “I Deserve,” and “It Ain’t Worth.” In between songs, he interacted with the lively crowd by joking, dancing, laughing, and asking the audience for song requests.

Tank ended his performance with “I Can’t Make You Love Me,” requested by a birthday girl in the crowd.
