Later an intense relationship exercise stirs up emotions for many of the couples, leaving Jackie in tears and bringing Quad and Greg’s marital issues to a head.

Quintarrius Shakir (aka @QueTheCreator on twitter) graciously offered to recap last week’s episode for me and I accepted his fine offer. Quintarrious also penned the M2M post last year about how the show depicts educated Black women and he sparked a great debate on the pros and cons of reality television.

1. Toya is frustrated with Dr. Simone?s selective amnesia.

After Dr. Jackie?s husband Curtis arrives on the second day of the couple?s trip, the six couples get ready to sit down for a peaceful group breakfast to be prepared by Toya and Eugene. Toya bluntly reaveals to Quad that Simone invited Mariah to come to the couple?s trip, which provokes Quad to interrogate Simone. Simone attempts to explain she wanted to repair the broken friendship between she and Mariah. Quad eyes pierce Simone, and she cuts the conversation short. In one of her confessionals, Quad warns Simone to stop meddling in her and Mariah?s affairs before she gets her ass beat.

Just before breakfast could begin, Simone addresses the ladies about the chitter-chatter behind her back. She tells the group by bringin

g Mariah to the camping trip she was only wanting to fix things between Quad and Mariah so that she could be re-included into the group?s activities. Toya buys herself more camera time when she reminds Simone that the group agreed not to bring Mariah to the trip and that no one was gossiping about her since she told the whole group she was going to bring Mariah to the cabin while Quad was at the store. Simone denies saying it. A short, petty argument ensues between Toya and Simone. Quad stops the two from arguing about Mariah, who is apparently going on a camping trip of her own.

2. Mariah is pretty creative in getting her camera time…

Most of Mariah?s storyline this season has revolved around the feud between her and Quad. As such, it makes sense that a scene between she and her husband starts with a conversation about the ladies kicking her off the camping trip. The Blackadeshi Princess closes her briefcase and kisses her husband good-bye before heading to a cabin with her mother and a few close friends. She has no plans to honor Simone?s request drive two hours outside of Atlanta and act a fool with Quad or see Simone get the dog-shit slapped out of her.

Miss Lucy brought her puppy, a black Maltese, along to the trip, and he got a few seconds of camera time. I?m lying. There was no dog. That was her wig.

Mariah discusses the drama between her and the cast members, targeting Quad as the reason to which she?s been oust from the group and made the show?s villain. Mariah explains that Quad turned five other middle-aged women against her, and somehow the group believes it.

There was no mention of Mariah?s energy bar/drink line, but she did have a ceremonial toast for the ladies kicking her out of their cheap cabin trip. Mariah cried and offered the rest of the cast a one-way ticket to Hell.

3. Mariah placed a restraining order on Reco Chapple…

Quad tells the group the after Reco Chapple showed his ass and cursed out his once close-friend Mariah at their fashion show, Mariah placed a restraining order. The rest of the group recognize the pettiness in what Mariah is doing, even Toya, who can?t pronounce the word czar and a allegedly lost a $50,000 deposit on a home worth less than Dr. Heavenly?s.

In an earlier episode, Reco Chapple noted that the restraining order said that Mariah threw the ultimate shade and identified him as having a long head and overbite.

4. Quad started a domino effect with the group shading Dr. Eugene.

Last week, Quad called Toya?s husband ?Big Genie? and said something to the effect of, ?He mushes Toya, and their sex is sweaty.? Anyway, the group played football with each other, Team Doctors versus Team Wives. The Doctors won.

I?m not sure which team Eugene was on, but he pushed one of the wives down on accident and rolled on top of Jackie?s thumb. Jackie yelled across the field to her husband that Dr. Eugene tried to break her hand. She said it felt like a train was driving across her thumb. Cold world, cold world.

5. The husbands are even more opinionated than the wives.

The husbands of the cast were quite entertaining, freshened the episode, and added new dimensions to a conversation about sin, cheating, and motherhood. Simone flattered the group, saying that she found the trip pleasurable and wanted to end it with a group discussion. The couple?s wrote personal relationship questions on slips of paper and answered them at random.

A few highlights in the conversation were the couple?s fumbling and clarifying their response to Lisa Nicole?s question, ?If your spouse cheated on you multiple times, would you give them another chance?? Toya and Eugene revealed that they don?t always make their commitment of having sex at least one time a week. Jackie and Curtis move the group to tears when Jackie thanks her husband for loving her despite her not haven yet given him a son. Quad casts her husband a side-eye when her husband coyly suggests that she give up her aspirations of being a puppy couture mogul.

The men all gathered around a campfire before their last dinner together, and Gregory thanked the husbands for protecting him from Heavenly?s verbal slaughter during a conversation about a husband?s temptation to cheat on his wife. There was a mention of a woman named ?Keisha,? who Eugene described as the woman that men look for when they?re not satisfied in their relationship. Lisa Nicole?s must know Keisha pretty well.

The ladies have voted that Mariah can no longer attend group events because she brings too much drama with her. And, the tension brewing between Toya and Simone continues to erupt. What will this mean for next week?s episode?
