Best known as the husband of housewife/attorney Phaedra Parks, Apollo is actually a really smart dude who has been typecast into just a ‘pretty’ face.
Nida and I sat down for a one on one recently where we talked several topics. We are all quite aware of his legal issues (click HERE if you missed that), so I thought it would be cool to discuss everything BUT those things.
Starting with his appearance on Kandi Burruss’ wedding spin-off show.

Todd Tucker (Kandi’s new hubby) and Apollo have been friends for a while and Nida was spotted on the wedding spin-off, where he gave Todd a bit of advice about signing a pre-nup.

Being that Apollo is also in a high-profile relationship with a successful ‘housewife’ he knows first-hand the issues Todd has been going through surrounding signing a prenuptial agreement with Kandi.

Apollo states in the interview above that he feels that since Todd had his own business ventures going, he and Kandi started out on an even playing field, stating:
It doesn’t matter what Kandi has at the end of the day.
So I had a lot to say when it came to the PreNup.
Make sure you put your foot down… make sure you voice your opinion because, I went into my relationship not really voicing an opinion.
I believed that my wife had my best interest at hand… 1. being my wife and 2. being an attorney.
So I was really nonchalant and I just feel back. So I told him, ‘don’t make the mistake that I made’.
Not saying that someone was taking advantage of me, but it was a mistake not being proactive and not being hands on and knowing A through Z.
You have to know. If you’ve done what I’ve done (by not speaking up)… you’re going to be blindsided.

For the record, this is just a small taste of our one on one interview. Apollo and I spoke for quite a while and I have much more to share with you guys!
