It was all about the husbands on the final episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s sixth season, which aired last night (May 18, 2014).
Just last week, we were treated to a ‘secrets revealed’ episode (click HERE if you missed that), and now we finally get to hear about RHOA’s 6th season from the husband’s perspective.
On ?Husbands Revealed,? RHOA S6, Episode 27,? the Atlanta ‘househusbands’ all convene at Peter Thomas’ Bar One restaurant to shoot the sh*t about the season.
Gregg, Peter, Apollo and Todd sound off about the craziness surrounding their lives with their wives and gave fans of the popular ‘reality’ show an inside look at their relationships.
One question though…
Read the 5 things ‘revealed’ during RHOA S6, Ep27 + watch the full ‘Husbands Revealed’ episode below…
Apollo Nida, the husband of RHOA’s Phaedra Parks, arrived for the guys? night out feeling ‘some kinda way’.? As the men are prepping their libations for the evening, Nida insists that he’s on ‘shots of water’ because he’s been wilding out lately.
He also rocks sunglasses and says it’s because he hasn’t gotten any sleep lately after battling with his wife all night.
Apollo doesn?t seem to have any bruises, but he says Phaedra woke him up my slapping the dog piss outta him.
Apollo told the guys that they?ve been in couples? therapy for a while because of these type of fights. And his older male friends give him a bit of sound advice on how to save his marriage.
First, Peter & Todd had already warned him not to speak to Kenya alone, but he ignored them. While he admits he never slept with Kenya, Apollo says he didn’t handle the situation well. The men all advised him to focus on his wife and reassure her that she?s the most important thing in his life.
Apollo also reveals that he may have let the ‘Kenya’ issue get out of hand due to the fact that he felt emasculated by his wife. It seems he feels like Phaedra treats him like one of her children and he feels he doesn’t have a voice in their home.
Peter reveals how their financial issues, which played out on the show caused his feelings due to the fact that he felt his primary role as a husband was to take care of his wife.? But that hasn?t always been the case in their marriage.
He admits that his wife was more settled than he was, but appreciates the fact that Bailey loved him enough to hold him down in order to lift him up.
Todd reveals his feelings about being seen as taking his wife?s money but yet when he go out to work, Kandi complains about the jobs taking his time away her.
On the flip side, when he chooses to stay, people (ie Mama Joyce) accuse him of living off of his future wife.
The good thing about both of the relationships is that the couples seem to be ‘teammates’ and can work together through their issues.
He’s totally willing and able to hold down the fort while Nene brings home the bacon. He refers to himself duringthe episode as ‘Jeffrey’ ie the fresh prince of Bel Aire’s butler, because he does all the cooking and is the one looking after their 15 year old son, Brentt.
Gregg even reveals that it’s his JOB to make Nene’s life easier and I totally salute him for that.
When the question is brought up about the ‘hottest’ housewife, Apollo Nida quickly references ex- housewife Lisa Wu (from season 1 & 2).
Gregg Leakes agrees with Apollo while both Peter and Todd joke that he really wanted to say ‘Kenya’.
Peter admits that while Porsha isn’t the smartest, she’s definitely a hot chick and Todd co-signs by giving Porsha 3 votes instead of 1.
The ‘househusbands’ don’t waste any time beating around the bush and they come right out and ask Apollo about his legal troubles.
Apollo admits he made some bad choices and it seems that those statements he reportedly made in court about the pressure to ‘maintain’ his reality show lifestyle could be totally true.

Apollo tells the guys about the time he bought Phaedra a car as a surprise gift, but she returned it and instead, bought her own car.
That situation apparently hurt Apollo and when the guys asked if he ever confronted Phaedra on why she didn?t like the car, Apollo says he assumed it was because “Apollo Nida” bought it.
Maybe Parks had questions on how he could afford the big ticket items, who knows, but whatever the case, the man all agree that he should have gotten answers instead of holding on to the grudge.
Other issues to note…
Apollo says he found out about Phaedra’s previous relationship with Chuck Smith only after it played out on the show.
Todd revealed that Kandi and Phaedra are ‘ride or die’ for each other.
Gregg reveals that he’s having issues dealing with his teenaged son’s sudden interest in girls.
Peter says that jokes about him being a ‘housewife’ don’t bother him because he’s always going to have an opinion.
After all the ‘revelations,’ Todd says the conversation is way too heavy and asks the guys to steer the discussion towards lighter subjects. They then briefly discuss Todd’s? bachelor party and it seems like there’s a great bond between all of the men behind the ‘housewives’.
