Dr. Dre Wants You To Know… (He’s The 1st Hip-Hop Billionaire!) [VIDEO]

It’s Official! The super producer/entrepreneur Dr. Dre is not the worlds 1st hip-hop BILLIONAIRE!

A video shot by R&B artist Tyrese Gibson seems to confirm all the talk about Apple buying up Beats Electronics.

Beats’ founder is rapper and entrepreneur Dr. Dre (Andre Young), and he’s pointing right at the lens in Gibson’s video as he states:

The first billionaire in hip hop right here from the motherf—-n West Coast!”

The Financial Times was first to report the sale yesterday (May 8, 2014) that Apple is closing in on a $3.2 billion purchase of the high-end headphones and streaming music service, however at that time, representatives from Apple and Beats both declined comment.

Apparently the deal is done, so it’s all good now tho…

In the video above, Tyrese and friends join Dr. Dre in celebrating the huge sale of his company, stating:

“Billionaire boys club for real homie,” Gibson said. “The Forbes list just changed. It came out like two weeks ago. They need to update the Forbes list!”

Congrats to Dr. Dre on this historic landmark!
