In the Tweets: Keyshia Cole Feels Disrespected By Atlanta Radio… [AUDIO]

Keyshia Cole did a phone interview with Atlanta radio station V103?s Ryan Cameron and Wanda Smith earlier this week that has been making the rounds.

The primary focus of the interview was SUPPOSED to be Keyshia’s new song ‘Rick James’ feat. Juicy J, but things took a left when Cole was asked about her relationship with her estranged husband, Daniel “Boobie” Gibson.

Apparently morning show co-host Smith asked the question, “Do you believe you were wifey material?” in reference to Keyshia’s marriage problems and the songstress felt the questioning was disrespectful and didn’t have any problems saying so on air!

The interview was so troubling that afterwards Keyshia ranted online, stating that she’s done with interviews for now.

On her relationship with husband Boobie:

Some things just don?t last forever,We definitely are co-parenting right now. He?s a great father. You know, I wanna stress that issue. A lot of guys out there don?t care of their children after the relationship doesn?t work.

He makes sure DJ is well taken care of, not just financially. We good, we working it out and we?re straight.

When Wanda Smith asked Keyshia if she was ‘wifey material,’ Keyshia felt disrespected and snapped back at the morning show host:

You know what? Y?all really f**kin? with my sh** right now.

I got some other sh** going on. What y?all wanna talk about? Tell me now.

Smith only made things worse when she compared Keyshia to Monica, stating:

You were so busy, you had your career popping off and you were doing your thing, Then you had to phase out and start doing the wifey things, the cooking, taking care of the kids. Were you really ready for that or were you still trying to do your music thing?

Keyshia?s response?

So you trying to insinuate that I was one dimensioned? Listen! Monica I?m sure is doing her thing. This isn?t ain?t no first rodeo for Monica. She?s been through the ringer, this, that and the other.

But at the end of the day, we can handle all that! It?s a point of a man taking care of his business. Straight up on that. We good! We handle our sh**.

We do what we do! Period! I don?t know what to tell you about that.

Keyshia hit the tweets following the interview to express her disappointment in the Atlanta morning show:

It’s clear that Keyshia is dealing with some stressful times right now, and the line of questions during that radio interview didn’t help a bit.

Whatever the case, Cole says she moving past all that to focus on the good things going on in her life…

I commend Keyshia for standing up to the disrespect! Salute!!
