Kandi Burruss of the Real Housewives of Atlanta is giving ‘Hollywood Glam’ as she covers the March 31, 2014 issue of Jet Magazine but more importantly, she’s serving up ‘Bride-to-Be’ tease!
Burrus has been a part of RHOA a for 5 seasons, but it seems like it was just yesterday when she joined the cast.

The 37-year-old Atlanta-bred Grammy winner isn’t brash and boastful about her millionaire status but everybody knows Kandi is PAID!!
The former member of ?90s girl group Xscape has managed to parlay her musical talents into a lucrative career as a songwriter and producer, but she’s also created an empire through her entrepreneurial ventures, which include her Bedroom Kandi adult toy line and The Kandi Factory, which houses TV, music and artist development enterprises.
Kandi isn’t stopping anytime soon. She’s even got 2 new television specials in development: Kandi will be featured on CentricTV’s ‘Being’ (a documentary series highlighting some of music and entertainment’s most dynamic figures) and several of her friends and family were interviewed for her segment.
But wait… Kandi has also got a Bravo wedding spin-off on deck (as if you didn’t see that one coming).

A practical woman at heart, Burruss credits a calendar as the key to her balancing act. She shares her strategy for succuss in her Jet feature, stating:
?I put everything on it,? shares the savvy businesswoman. ?Especially my daughter?s events.
I block off the time when she gets out of school and her basketball games because sometimes people don?t respect the fact that you have a child.?
Unfortunately, making time for her relationship with Tucker hasn?t been as simple…. but have no fear, the couple is spending plenty of time together these days as they film their upcoming wedding special.

Kandi’s road to the alter has been a bit bumpy but word on the curb is that a date is set and she’s moving full steam ahead as production for her wedding spin-off has been underway for several weeks now.
If all goes as planned, Burruss is set to walk down the aisle in early April and it will all be filmed for the delight of you RHOA wedding fanatics.
There’s already been drama surrounding Kandi’s wedding dress (she wants a local designer to design it but her friends and family are reportedly against the idea), and as for Mama Joyce, I’m sure she’s preparing to turn up and turn out for the cameras.
Hopefully Mama Joyce can keep the shoe throwing to a minimum, in light of her daughter’s big day.

That being said, Kandi also addressed her mom’s issues in her Jet magazine feature, stating:
When my mother was younger it was all about getting a man to be a provider. She leans toward a man who is financially more well-off than the dude who is just a good guy.
I?ve dated guys who are more successful than me, and my mom is like, no matter what he does wrong, you have to work it out.

Kandi’s fiancee Todd Tucker seems to be all the man she needs and the Grammy award winning songstress says that having her boo by her side makes her better at whatever she does.
I love that Todd is affectionate and relationship-oriented. But he?s also a leader and a planner, and because of his production background he makes me a better businesswoman.
Kandi’s hustle is certainly unprecedented and she admits that she hates to leave anything unfinished:
When I speak about anything on camera I want to accomplish it before we finish taping. I am a ?do what I say? person. I want people to know I?m not a bullshitter.
I hate when people on reality shows mention how they want to do this and that, but you never hear of it again.
I guess with that amount of determination, there’s no denying that Kandi & Todd’s wedding will happen whether Mama Joyce wants it or not.
