SPOTTED: Designer Mychael Knight & Ex-‘Housewife’ Sheree Whitfield Host Fashion Event in Alabama… [PHOTOS]

Designer Mychael Knight (Project Runway All-Stars) held a fashion event in his hometown of Montgomery, Alabama last weekend which was kinda/sorta hosted by former ‘housewife’ Sheree Whitfield.

Knight presented ?A Knight in Wonderland,? which featured his own designs as well as those of a few local designers, models, makeup artists and other fashion pros.

Whitfield showed up rocking a recycled yet fashionable outfit?from her glory days at Bravo (#NeverForget),?but word on the curb is that she didn’t actually fulfill her hosting duties due to the fact that she was 2 hours late and stuttered through her lines on ?stage.

I heard that Knight on the other hand, wowed the crowed with his new designs and even offered a few up & coming designers and opportunity to assist with his new line.

?I owe everything I am to this city,? he said.

?This is where my mom is from, this is where my father is from, this is where I was reared, where I learned all my values, and I just wanted in return to share some love and give back, to just pay it forward.?

Congratulations to Mychael Knight for his contributions to the fashion world and props to Sheree Whitfield for ganking another promoter out of an appearance fee!
