Joyce Jones, Kandi Burruss‘ hot tempered mom, has caught a lot of flack during the current season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Mama Joyce has made it quite well known that she’s against Kandi’s relationship with her?fianc? Todd Tucker, and she declared war on any and everyone who crossed her path about her stance.

But she’s claiming that it’s the RHOA producers’ fault that she appears crazy and that it’s all edited to make her look that way. 😯

Mama Joyce has been looking quite slim and trim these days thanks to a special protein diet from Dramatic Weight Loss and while I think it may have been her hunger making her act all ornery this season, she says it’s all ‘bad editing’!
According to Radar Online, the Burruss matriarch claims the show?s producers edited her scenes to take her comments out of context, not show them in their entirety and make her look bad!
?That upset me so bad,? Mama Joyce told Radar.
?When they showed the scene of me walking into the house and seeing all the pictures of Todd on the wall I was not talking about his pictures!?
?I know Kandi had a decorator, her friend Carmon ? and she put up all those pictures of Todd when he was a little boy,? she recalled.
?I said, ?Now that?s a damn shame,? and what I really said was that shouldn?t be all him up there (on the wall). That shouldn?t be his wall. I said there were no picture of Riley or me. I didn?t just say there should be a picture of me. ?
Mama Joyce claims that what she really said was that she wanted pictures of her granddaughter Riley to be on the wall as well.
?I said the pictures of Riley should be much higher and the pictures of Kandi?s daughter should be up there, not just pictures of Todd.
But they didn?t show that. They only showed me saying it shouldn?t be just him.
Mama Joyce says she’s baffled at the producers? decision to edit her scenes but admits that since she’s an unpaid employee, it’s all their call.
I don?t know why they did that. I allowed it to be like that, I guess.
I guess since they don?t pay me, they can do whatever they want.
Wait… what?!? Mama Joyce didn’t get a check for all that buffoonery?!? 😯
Isn’t it odd how she was so busy tryna negotiate a pre-nup for Kandi, that she didn’t even bother to negotiate her own contract? *sigh*
