Sad news today, Caodes Scott aka ‘Kayo Redd,’ the younger brother of Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka Flame, has died of an apparent suicide.
Kayo Redd was an aspiring rapper who tweeted a shout-out to his recently released mixtape, ?Redd Kisses,? hours before died Sunday evening (December 29, 2013) in Atlanta.
His unfortunate death was confirmed in a tweet by his mother, hip-hop manger Debra Antney, who posted the following comment:

The cause of Redd’s death has not been officially confirmed but Waka Flocka, 27, sent out an anguished twitter message around 3:47am December 30,2013, which was later deleted, stating:
He later posted anoter tweet stating, ?Ya Big Brother love you Kayo,? with a link to 15-second video tribute containing photos of his younger brother.

Debra Antney spoke with Dennis Byron of Hip Hop Enquirer via phone earlier today and stated the following:
?He had just left my house and he headed down the street and the next thing I knew was my son was dead.?
As Ms. Antney struggled through her grief to explain the last moments she remembered with her son, she expressed that her son known to many as Kayo Redd was not happy with the fact that he couldn?t help her like his brother Waka was doing as well as his pending medical issue.? He was worried about his vision and his upcoming eye surgery that was going to take place in North Carolina.
?My son was a good kid and I never had any problems with him.? ?I just don?t know why he would do such a thing??
KayO was reportedly?discovered last night in the Georgia subdivision where he lived with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. According to TMZ, Henry County authorities say an autopsy will also be conducted.
