Rumor Control: LA Reid Sets The Record Straight About TLC…

TLC aka Tionne “T-Boz’ Watkins and Rozonda ‘Chilli’ Thomas have been set-up for a comeback with their recent performance on the 2013 American Music Awards, which featured Lil Mama as the “L” in the group (click HERE if you missed that).

But it was just last week that rumors ran rampant that the popular 90’s girl group had been dropped from their record label.

Well… just when you thought Peri ‘Pebbles’ Reid had won her battle against TLC and VH1, which started after the CrazySexyCool Biopic (WATCH) portrayed her as the source of their well-documented money issues, it seems TLC is still rising!

Pebble’s ex-husband, Epic label head L.A. Reid, recently hit the tweets to set the record straight about TLC. Reid personally denied that rumors that he’d dropped TLC and sent out word via social media, stating:

While the question still looms as to why TLC would sign with one of the parties who may have been responsible for their money woes, at least we know that Lil Mama still has a shot at a new career.
