There’s a new site that’s getting national attention these days because of it’s controversial content.
‘ShesaHomewrecker.com’ is the latest twist on the booming trend of “revenge” websites, which allow jilted lovers or angry exes to humiliate their former flings .?The website claims to expose the names, pictures and often torrid details about alleged homewreckers and their adulterous ways.
‘Revenge’ websites have been around for years and the creators of such sites have always claimed they aren’t breaking any laws because they don’t create the content, the posters do.?But that hasn’t stopped some people from taking legal action…
[FLASHBACK: Wait, What?!? Mayor Kasim Reed Sues Lipstick Alley? ]
Ariella Alexander (her online alias),?the creator of ‘ShesaHomeWrecker.com’ she says she created the site as a way to teach adulterous women a lesson.
“I hate to say it, but it’s going to — it can follow you for the rest of your life,” she said. “You appear on Google, I mean, everyone now knows what you’ve done.”

Using the mantra ?if you can?t beat them, EXPOSE them,? shesahomewrecker.com encourages women to post information about the ?white picket fence destroying women who just can?t seem to let go of your husbands and boyfriends ? Don?t forget to include photos!?
Many feel that Alexander is playing online ‘God’ and that sites like this should be banned.
Sticking to (un)ethical guide posts similar to revenge porn, She?s a Homewrecker publishes picture after picture of ?other women,? including their full name, city and sometimes other personal information (like phone numbers).
Meanwhile, the philandering men are treated like sympathy-deserving victims of their own biology, physically incapable of resisting the wiles of these evil temptresses. Frankly this is all a little too Scarlet Letter for us.
[Sidebar: ?Remember DontDateHimGirl.com? It used to be a website where women could put no good men ‘on blast’ (now I think it only lives on Facebook).?The crazy thing is? instead of serving as a forum to ‘warn’ other women, it turned into a way for some men to make themselves appear wanted to the masses.
That whole ‘I’m a playa’ thing that immature men like to pat each other on the back for, turned into a battle amongst college dudes to see who could come up with the best ‘DontDateHimGirl’ post about themselves.]
But I digress?[FLASHBACK:?Are You Too Ugly to Date? Ask This Dating Website??]
Go ahead, bash me. If women loved each other so much, women wouldn’t be sleeping with other women’s husbands. ?At the end of the day it’s about RESPECT.
As a woman, I am not going to sleep with someone else’s husband, I’m not going to flirt with someone else’s husband, I’m not going to involve myself in somebody else’s marriage. Why would I do that?
She actually has a point there?
ABCNews got the perspective of both a mistress and a wife in the situation. ?The two stories are not connected but each reveal their experience with the site.
“It was really just a way for me to vent,” Sanchez said.
While still pregnant, Sanchez said her husband asked her for a divorce. She was so upset that she decided to take revenge and posted personal details on ShesAHomewrecker.com, with photos, of the woman she said stole her husband.
When asked if she was worried the other woman might sue her for slander, Sanchez said, “No, because I have proof of it all. I kept everything and I have everything.”
The alleged homewrecker is now married to Sanchez’s ex-husband and has a 3-month-old baby with him — a child that is one year younger than Sanchez’s youngest son, the one she was pregnant with when she said she discovered their cheating.
Sanchez said she would be willing to forgive her cheating husband, but not the other woman.
Scott admits she got involved with a married man who said he was ‘separated and going through a divorce’. ? She subsequently got pregnant during the affair, but by the time she was four months along, she realized the man was NEVER going to leave his wife.
That’s when she says she ended their relationship and even called his wife to say she’s sorry. (insert side-eye)
“I told her everything and I apologized,” Scott said.
“She was very, very calm. I was very hysterical because I felt so guilty. … I’m very sorry, I’ve told her so many times. I’ve written her many emails apologizing, from the depths of my soul, I’m sorry, and I don’t know what I can do.”
Scott went on to have her married boyfriend’s baby, while her former lover moved on with his wife on and moved several states away.
Three months ago, she said she found her name and picture on ShesAHomewrecker.com said she has received vicious messages from strangers online, bullying her and her infant son.
“I don’t get why I’m getting all of the brunt of this when he was the one married, when he said he would honor [his wife], but I’m the bad guy and I’m getting blasted on the Internet,” she said.
“He is a homewrecker. The home was already wrecked by the time I came into the picture. If you truly love someone else they are not going to stray. I feel that I’m not the one who wrecked the home.”
As Scott prepares to finish nursing school, she fears the online post will hurt her chances of finding a job.
“To the future employer Googling me, and reading all of those comments on the website, seeing all those things, who would want to hire me?” she said.
“It wouldn’t matter how good of a nurse I was. That would go out the window and they would be like ‘We don’t want this woman to work here. We don’t want the bad publicity.’ It’s not fair.”
