Preachers of L.A. is certainly creating conversation amongst a few of God’s ‘chosen’ ones and Deitrick Haddon, in particular, is striking back against one of the naysayers.
A few weeks ago, Bishop T.D. Jakes basically ‘rebuked’ the new reality show, while his friend, Preachers of L.A.’s Noel Jones dismissed his participation as a willingness to show that Preachers are people too.

Haddon, who is no stranger to controversy, admits that he expected the public’s response.

[AUDIO: Deitrick Haddon’s Full Interview]
I have the absolute utmost respect for Bishop TD Jakes and what he represents. I considered him one of our generals in this generation.
I was a bit taken back and shocked when I saw his view on the show, being that he’s a forefather in unorthodox, unconventional methods of sharing the Gospel, whether it be through MegaFest or partnering with comedians or Oprah.
Haddon also emphasized the importance of the program, saying this is an opportunity to produce more faith-based, good and clean television on mainstream. He also reminded the naysayers of the fact that people can do things wrongs, but still be able to stand up again by the grace of God.
?Some times the negativity can drown out the positivity. It is amazing how you can do a million things right, but folk, people, focus on one thing is wrong.?
Hmmm…. Haddon may have a point.. what do y’all think?
