Deion Sanders Hosts Annual ‘Prime Time’ Black & Red Gala… [PHOTOS]

Pro football hall of famer Deion ‘Prime Time’ Sanders and his fellow footballer buddy Kordell Stewart smile proudly as Deion arrived for the 2013 ‘Prime Time’ Black & Red Gala last night (July 27, 2013).

It was almost ‘all Black & Red’ everything as many Atlanta?s ‘who’s who’ came out for Deion’s annual celebration, which was held at the historic Georgia Freight Depot in downtown Atlanta.

[Sidebar: Kordell gets the side-eye for leaving his ‘Black & Red’ attire at home…. but I digress.]

The event was held during Sanders’ 4th Annual Prime Time Youth Sports Weekend, and Sanders celebrated the successful weekend with a few of his celebrity friends and NFL/MLB counterparts, along with a few ‘sports moms’ who joined in on the celebration of youth sports, community and all things Atlanta.

Attendees included: Deion’s kids (Deion, Jr and Deiondra), Kordell Stewart, Dondria, Teddy Riley, Nicci Gilbert, Gregory & Quad Lunceford (Married to Medicine), designer Reco Chapple, Towanda Braxton, Chanita Foster, Sabrina Rowe & Sharlinda Parker (Big Rich Atlanta) and more.

Theme parties are fun, but why is it always so hard for EVERYONE to follow directions? *sigh* For the record, the invite for Deion’s Prime Time Black & Red Gala offered the following instructions:

Join Atlanta’s own Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders for the 2013 Prime Time Black & Red Gala Celebration! Benefiting Deion’s kids of the Prime Time Association where he & his team mentors, builds, develops & BELIEVES the kids to be our future leaders! Celebrity & VIP Guests, Pro Athletes. Special presentations, Surprise Appearances & LIVE Entertainment all while benefiting the Prime Time Association!
DRESS CODE:?Red. Black. or Red & Black ONLY –?(Go Falcons!)?No other colors will be allowed! Strictly “Prime Time” Enforced!
I think that people who intentionally dismiss the dress code of theme parties (like those who wear red to white parties), should be turned away to try again, but clearly no one was denied entry last night. ? The ‘Black & Red’ gala looked like a red, black, white, gray and pink party but it appears everyone had fun nonetheless.

Congrats to Deion’s ‘Prime Time’ Association for hosting another successful ‘Black & Red’ event!
