Atlanta-based artist Keri Hilson?has been off the scene for a while but she’s back and ready for her close up!

Hilson has reported returned to the studio and is working on a new album, which she spoke of recently during an interview in New York.
Musically, I did take a break. It seemed long to everyone, but it was a pretty brief hiatus. But I?m back in the studio, putting together my album.
We are pretty close to choosing the single. We?ve thought we have chosen the single. We are almost there.

I?ve actually worked with him. I can?t say much about it, but it was awesome.
He?s a genius. I really, really enjoyed working with him.
As you know, Kanye and Keri have collaborated before… on Keri’s 2009 hit ‘Knock You Down,’ which earned them a Soul Train Music Award for ‘Best Collaboration’.
But besides all that, Hilson credits her success to her diehard fans and hopes they will embrace her new project.
The music is going to speak for itself.
I don?t think I need to re-introduce myself to the world. I?ve been blessed to have fans all over the world. I know that they will hold me down and spread the word.
It?s driven all by the music. It?s not from my fashion. It?s not from anything but my lyrics. Just the songs. The music and the feeling people get from it. I?m most proud about that. I think this time around it will be the same way with a bigger impact.
