Lil Scrappy aka Darryl Richardson turned himself in to Dekalb County authorities earlier this week on a probation violation charge and the timing couldn’t have been any better.
Scrappy had just appeared in the premiere episode of the 2nd season of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta (click HERE to watch) and the cameras also rolled as he turned himself in.

The streets buzzed that Scrappy may have violated probation one too many times, and rumors flew that he may have to actually serve time… but lucky for Scrap Merlo Jones, his attorney and Momma Dee’s prayers got him out of the clink (this time).

About a month ago, authorities claimed the LHHATL star turned in a sample that was cold to the touch and threw the sample away. Scrappy was then asked to submit another sample and he allegedly refused.
Word on the curb is that the probation officers involved in obtaining the sample where merely being “A”ssholes to Scrappy due to his “television star” status and that they took the opportunity to humiliate him while he was there for the test by accusing him of tampering with his urine sample (where they do that at?).
At any rate, once Scrappy appeared in front of a judge with his attorney by his side, the judge granted a motion to recall the warrant since he never actually violated probation since he never failed the drug test… due to the fact he was never tested.
