Porsha Stewart of The Real Housewives of Atlanta played a game of blackjack with her marriage and lost big time!
Reality television has been known to expose things that would normally remain hidden to the naked eye (i.e. Porsha’s booty poppin video days), so it’s no surprise that the genre is once again responsible for breaking up yet another “happy” home.
We all witnessed Kordell Stewart’s “controlling” ways during season 5 of RHOA and even a bit of his past came to light (click HERE if you missed that).?? In fact, Kordell’s appearance on the show was such a thorn in his side that he didn’t even bother to show up to the Season 5 reunion show taping a few weeks ago.

If you add Kordell’s gay rumors to Porsha’s video vixen past, someone is bound to come up with the perfect recipe for a divorce, and unfortunately hat’s exactly what’s happened now that Kordell has filed dem papers in Atlanta’s Fulton County Court.

Kordell Stewart married Porsha Williams on May 21, 2011 (click HERE to view their wedding video) in a lavish ceremony after only a few months of dating…. now just two months shy of the couple’s 2nd anniversary, Kordell has decided it’s time to call it quits.
It’s been a while since Kordell & Porsha have been seen together in Atlanta, so it wasn’t too much of a surprise to me when I heard that Kordell had filed for divorce from his reality star wife.
The former NFL baller filed divorce paperwork on March 22, 2013 in Fulton County Superior Court.
According to court records, the 40-year-old NFL alum (who went by the nickname “Slash” during his days of playing for Pittsburgh) is fed up and is ready to throw in the towel.
The couple have no children together. Stewart has a son from a previous relationship.
If you recall, Porsha proudly revealed on the show that she and Kordell don’t have a per-nuptial agreement.
My sources reveal that this break-up has been in the works for quite some time now, but Kordell was hesitant about walking away knowing that Porsha could attempt to break his bank after the break up.
If you follow this site, you already know that Porsha clearly had dreams and aspirations of being a star and not merely being a housewife.? From Porsha’s stint in Trillville’s “Some Cut” video to her days as a “butt model” for “Atlanta Dymes,” Porsha was on a mission… and it looks like Kordell was merely a stepping stone to get there.
She got her freedom from her “controlling” hubby PLUS a guaranteed storyline next season? Congrats Porsha! You finally won.
