Eleven cute kids dress as their favorite inspirational African-American role models in recognition of Black History Month (which by the way, should actually be EVERY month as opposed to the shortest month of the year… but I digress).
Photographer Eunique Gibson Jones shot photos of kids are dressed as inconic Black Americans like?Oprah Winfrey, Rosa Parks, Spike Lee, Keri Washington and Muhammad Ali.
Jones says it’s her goal to ?empower and excite young people about their history and their future in a creative and yet relatable way? and it appears she definitely hit the mark with her ?Because of Them, We Can? campaign.
Check out the photos below…
Major props to photographer Eunique Gibson Jones for these awesome shots!
Can you think of any other notable Black Americans who should be commended for creating a path in their field for others to follow?
