First, she got off to a bad start when she angered the judge by laughing off his questions about her finances.
“We’re not in a club,” states Judge Rodriguez-Chomat, “be serious about it.”
That shoulda served as a warning, but as Soto turned to leave the courtroom with a bond set at $5,000, she giggled, waved and said “adios”, which infuriated the judge further.
He called her back and doubled her bond – at which point a shocked Soto became a lot more troubled by the proceedings.
Turning away in disgust, she raised her middle finger and blurted “f*ck you”.
The judge called Soto back to face his bench yet again, stating, “Did you just say that to me?”
He then sentenced her to 30 days in prison for contempt of court.
