I work year round, everyday restlessly.? When I get a break, this is what my break is about… giving back and coming back to my community, back to my people.

Jeezy, his CTE World team, and DJ Greg Street started packing up their CTE World trucks during the early morning hours of December 24th and hit the road with the gift of giving!

Details + video of Jeezy’s Macon visit below…

Jeezy and his crew first visited the Booker T. Washington Community Center in the Pleasant Hill neighborhood of Macon, one of 5 stops around the state on Christmas eve.

Jeezy teamed up with Pastor Tony Lowden, director of the Stone Academy after school program, to gather about 200 kids for the Macon event.

“Young Jeezy reached back,” said Lowden, “He’s more than just an entertainer, or a grammy nominee, he’s part of this community. He loves Macon and he loves this area.”

It was the rapper’s 5th visit to the center to hand out gifts, and he said he looks forward to it every year.

The children at the center were also just as excited.? 10-year-old D’Anthony Callwood got a video and MP3 player, but also got his moment in the spotlight with a celebrity.

They were just giving out toys for free. It was so exciting! I shook his hand and we took a picture together.

I think he’s cool. Cool, nice and generous!

Pastor Lowden estimates that Jeezy & his crew handed out toys to about 2,000 children.

Major props to Jeezy and CTE for doing good in the hood… for the 5th year in a row!!
