Another Day Another Atlanta Falcons Player Arrested… [MUGSHOT]

Atlanta Falcons defensive end John Abraham?was captured on the cell phone pic?above as he was handcuffed by Atlanta Police Officers.

Abraham was arrested Monday (September 24, 2012) at Atlantic Station after he was reportedly obstructing police and firefighters during an investigation.

First Michael Turner?and?now Abraham? Jeez… it’s like we’re on a winning streak and a losing streak at the same dayum time!!! *sigh*

Details + mugshot below below…

According to a police report obtained by the AJC, authorities?were responding to a call about a woman threatening to jump from one of the buildings in Atlanta Station, and 34 year old Abraham refused to exit the scene.

APD officers moved people away from the scene and put up crime scene tape to restrict onlookers from the area. The police report said Abraham entered the restricted area and was confronted by a firefighter who ?repeatedly ordered him to leave the scene.?

Nearby officers then responded and ordered Abraham to leave, according to the police report, but Abraham ?refused and insisted on continuing [farther] into the scene? at which point police arrested him.

Authorities charged Abraham with obstruction of police and obstruction of fire fighters and Fulton County jail records show Abraham listed as “in custody” late Monday evening with a bond set of $7,000 ($3,500 for each of the obstruction charges).

The Falcons issued a short statement Monday night, saying the team was ?aware of the news regarding John Abraham. We are in the process of gathering more information and we will have no further comment at this time.? (source)

[Sidebar: Hopefully someone was “in the process” of bailing Abraham’s “A”zz outta jail too.]

Just last week Atlanta Falcons Running Back Michael Turner?was arrested for DUI?after leaving a post game celebration at Magic City strip club.

Coincidentally, Abraham was arrested a day after the Falcons won against the San Diego Charges.

Just for the record, the Falcons are currently 3-0. Could this trend of arrests be helping our hometeam win games?

Hmmm… who knows??But keep up the great work boys!
